MIREES is a programme taught in English with a faculty of worldwide prominent scholars. Therefore, students will be encouraged to meet different teaching, absorb differentiated perspectives, in a plurality of angles, as powerful motivation for acknowledging differences, understanding “otherness”, making insight comparisons, being educated to deal substantially with their own future area of expertise.
MIREES offers a two-years language skills programme to be developed partially in Italy and partially in the partner Universities of East, Central and Balkan Europe, during their 6-month mobility for a period of study in the second year of the Programme.
Students enrolled in the MIREES programme come from a large number of countries, from Eastern and Western Europe, from the US and the Balkans. Therefore, since their arrival, their interaction with the other students is intensive and intellectually stimulating, dealing with a variety of experiences, views, and approaches.
The MIREES programme offers curricula in Economy; International Relations and Politics; History, Anthropology and Cultural Studies. Students, while deepening the field of study of their choice, are expected to develop skills and gain understanding by putting them in a wider context in order to acquire sensitivity to the interdisciplinary impact in decision-making processes.
MIREES awards an international diploma jointly issued by the Universities of Bologna, Ljubljana, Vitautas Magnus University of Kaunas, Corvinus University of Budapest, and Dániel Berzseny College of Szombáthely.
Thanks to its intensive international programme, MIRESS forges insightful consultants, analysts, and managers as Area Experts for international agencies, public administrations, private and public companies, NGOs, while also offering a solid basis for further academic studies at the PhD level.
